For the 4th edition of the GTBank Fashion Weekend, industry leaders, style connoisseurs and fashion lovers from around the globe will be coming together in Lagos, Nigeria this November. Held at the GTCentre, Plot 1, Water Corporation Road, Oniru on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November 2019, the 2-day event will showcase the burgeoning fashion industry in Africa while highlighting the talent.
The GTBank Fashion Weekend has been at the forefront of promoting trade in the fast-growing fashion industry in Africa since 2016. Over the years, the festival has brought together international fashion experts and celebrities who are passionate about design and entrepreneurship to engage with hundreds of thousands of young Africans.
This year, the GTBank Fashion Weekend, which is free to attend, will feature more than 30 renowned fashion icons, designers and industry experts, while providing free stalls to showcase and sell Africa’s finest apparel and style accessories ensemble to more than 130 indigenous small businesses.
The guests of the 2019 GTBank Fashion Weekend will be treated to an exciting array of fashion moments, from fashion and entrepreneurship masterclasses led by internationally renowned fashion experts to thrilling runway shows showcasing the latest in fashion styles and design trends. There will also be pop-up booths where emerging local designers can display their works and engage with some of the most creative fashionistas in Africa, an Arts & Crafts Village highlighting the elegance and versatility of traditional African architecture.
