Four skills: self-awareness (knowing your triggers), self-management (not reacting immediately), social awareness (reading the room), and relationship management (handling conflict).
Example: When criticized, instead of getting defensive (low EQ), say: "I hear that wasn't up to standard. Let me understand fully � what would success look like?"
EQ can be learned. Practice pausing before responding, labeling your emotions ("I feel frustrated, not angry"), and asking curious questions instead of making accusations. It's a superpower no AI can replace.
