Our Ocean 2019 | Youth Leadership Summit in Norway

The Our Ocean gatherings were started by Secretary of State John Kerry in 2014, with the expect to put seas on the international strategy motivation, and make a stage where pioneers from government, business and common society meet on an equivalent balance to advance activity and development for spotless, sound and gainful seas. The proposed subject for the “Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit” is “Co-making the Sustainable Blue Economy”. Following Norway’s worldwide authority in coordinated sea the board, the summit programming will mean to motivate, illuminate, and enable members to construct all encompassing arrangements that better parity the necessities of society, industry and the sea condition.


  • Problem-solver, sustainability champion, students, young professional below 35 years old
  • Have an interest in sustainability and contributing in solving our planet’s greatest challenges: ocean acidification, marine pollution, habitat destruction and overfishing to name a few.
  • It is not mandatory to already be an ocean advocate and educated on ocean challenges. A series of online bootcamps (webinars) will be conducted in the lead up to the summit to build foundation for the bootcamp.
