The Dangote refinery is very huge which is eight times larger and bigger than Victoria Island. Dangote refinery is worth over four billion dollars. Dangote refinery is located at Ibeju Lekki area, Lagos state.
The refinery occupies two thousand, one hundred and thirty-five hectares. It is a very busy place because work is done continuously and non stop. It is the biggest industry in Africa. The refinery is a 650,000 barrels per day (bpd) integrated refinery and petrochemical project under construction in the Lekki Free Zone near Lagos, Nigeria.
The refinery will process a variety of light and medium grades of crude to produce Euro-V quality clean fuels including gasoline and diesel as well as jet fuel and polypropylene.
The refinery will increase Nigeria’s refining capacity two-fold and help meet the increasing domestic fuel demand while generating foreign exchange through exports.
