Solar firm Daystar Power raises N3.6bn to expand services in Nigeria

Solar energy firm, Daystar Power who installed 103.8 kilowatts of solar plants in Abuja and Jadi said it has closed a N3.6bn ($10million) equity round with investments from Verod Capital Management and Persistent Energy Capital LLC.

Mymediaafrica.com gathered that the solar company has made a move that will support the Federal Government’s plan of sourcing 30{568489cf35ea458dc74a642d4e9df9f8045a1623c75cd416c14940fd0c12fbd1} of Nigeria’s energy needs from renewables by 2030.
